Toward the end of the 1937 season, owners Casey Tibbitts and Paul Wakeman were permanently suspended from the Vintage Baseball Guild. By tracing email messages to their originating IP address, proof was discovered that Paul Wakeman was in fact a false identity assumed by Tibbitts, and that Tibbitts had been simultaneously running two franchises for nearly eleven seasons since the founding of the VBG. |
